GLANCING AT A LOOK

Glancing At a Look (2018) is a live virtual reality performance, made in collaboration with Zsa Zsa Furnée, Benedikt Rudi and Sydra Perryman. It starts with a conversation about the act of looking, spectatorship, and the gaze. One audience member is chosen to wear the VR headset. The audience is then watching what the subject is seeing. It plays with spectatorship and control. Asking the question: is the visual ever a free space?
